A Professional Subscriber typically includes organizations (corporations, LLCs, partnerships) and individuals who use data for business purposes, as well as those registered with financial regulatory bodies, acting as investment advisors, or employed by financial institutions in relevant roles.
A Non-Professional Subscriber is generally any individual not registered with financial regulatory bodies, not acting as an investment advisor, and not employed by financial institutions performing registration-exempt functions.
Polygon serves both types of users: only non-professionals can utilize plans labeled for Individual Use and Non-Pro use, while professionals must use business plans.
Please refer to blog post Understanding Professional Status for further detailed qualifications regarding non-professional classifications.
