Responsibilities

  • Employ user-centered design principles to enhance interface usability, reduce friction, and address the specific needs of a technical audience.
  • Design developer-centric API documentation and tools that simplify complex information, enabling developers to easily understand and implement our APIs.
  • Utilize design thinking methodologies to map out user journeys within the developer experience, identifying and addressing pain points and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback by engaging with the developer community, gathering insights, and iterating on design solutions to meet evolving requirements.
  • Ensure consistency and advocate for best practices in design, focusing on usability, accessibility, and engagement.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing documentation projects or complex information systems.
  • Excellent understanding of information architecture and user experience principles.
  • Strong understanding of the technical landscape, ability to communicate effectively with engineers, and grasp complex technical concepts.
  • Knowledge of front-end web technologies and experience designing across platforms.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping with Figma.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology, with a keen interest in improving how developers interact with financial data.
