Where does Polygon’s Options data come from?

Feb 11, 2022
Updated: Jul 11, 2023

We receive our options data directly from the Options Price Reporting Authority (OPRA). OPRA disseminates consolidated last sale and quotation information originating from the national securities exchanges that have been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to provide markets for the listing and trading of exchange-traded securities options. This allows us to provide accurate and reliable options market data to our customers.
